Staff Product Engineer

Job Summary

To support critical financial infrastructure initiatives, the full-time Staff Product Engineer will design and manage systems for payments, reconciliation, and compliance in a remote environment, ensuring reliability and scalability while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Own and deliver critical financial infrastructure initiatives with a focus on reliability and auditability
• Drive architectural decisions and establish technical standards across product and engineering teams
• Build systems that comply with regulatory requirements and ensure data integrity across financial workflows

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience with a focus on large-scale systems
• Hands-on experience building payment platforms and financial systems at scale
• Expert-level proficiency in Python and experience with Django and REST frameworks
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, transactional integrity, and compliance controls
• Experience with SQL and cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS
