Staff Product Engineer

Job Summary

Owning the design of mission-critical systems, the full-time Staff Product Engineer will tackle complex challenges across the software stack, collaborating closely with the CTO to implement long-term engineering strategies in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and oversee the development of systems related to wallets, ledgers, and enrollment processes
• Identify and resolve cross-cutting engineering problems while setting standards for design and code reviews
• Mentor engineers and guide data modeling and system design to enhance team effectiveness and accountability

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience, particularly in fast-growing companies
• Proficiency in TypeScript, React, Next.js, Node, and PostgreSQL
• Experience designing and shipping complex systems that involve payments, ledgers, and integrations
• Strong understanding of data security and compliance, particularly with sensitive information
• Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
