Staff Product Manager

Job Summary

Owning the Flink Cloud Platform product areas, the full-time Staff Product Manager will define and drive the product strategy and roadmap for enterprise-grade capabilities, focusing on customer adoption and cross-functional collaboration in a remote setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and drive the product strategy and roadmap for enterprise-grade Flink capabilities, including encryption and disaster recovery
• Collaborate with field teams and strategic customers to understand requirements and accelerate enterprise Flink adoption
• Write clear product specifications and work cross-functionally to ensure seamless integration with Confluent Cloud's enterprise capabilities

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of product management experience in cloud infrastructure, data platforms, or distributed systems
• Deep understanding of enterprise security and compliance requirements, including encryption and key management
• Experience with stream processing or real-time data systems, preferably with Apache Flink or Apache Kafka
• Strong technical acumen and ability to engage with engineering on system design and specifications
• Proven track record of shipping enterprise-grade cloud products in a fully managed/SaaS environment
