Staff Product Manager

Job Summary

Owning the commercial product delivery for NetBox Core, the full-time Staff Product Manager will manage open source community engagement, drive data model evolution, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product releases in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the shipping of NetBox Core into commercial products, ensuring internal teams are treated as primary customers
• Manage the NetBox open source community presence, including issue triage and contributor engagement
• Drive the roadmap for data model evolution and API surface, making decisions on backward compatibility and extensibility

Required qualifications

• 7-10+ years of product management experience in B2B software, with 3+ years focused on infrastructure or developer tools
• Proven ability to drive process or cultural change within engineering teams
• Technical proficiency to engage with codebases and understand architectural documentation
• Strong understanding of API design, including REST and GraphQL, and its implications for developer experience
• Experience with open source products or communities, including contributor dynamics and issue management
