Staff Product Manager

Job Summary

To support a growing API platform, the full-time Staff Product Manager will define product strategies, prioritize developer needs, and lead growth initiatives while working remotely from Ontario, Canada.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and prioritize developer needs through customer engagement and market analysis
• Define and drive the core productivity platform and scaling strategy for GitHub's API
• Lead growth experiments and adoption campaigns to validate product direction and scale usage

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in product/service/project/program management, software development, or related fields, or a Bachelor's Degree with 6+ years of relevant experience
• 2+ years of expertise in developer tools and workflows, translating requirements into features
• Experience building and shipping APIs or event-driven platforms at scale
• Experience delivering product roadmap updates to executive leadership
