Staff Product Manager

Job Summary

Driving the core productivity platform strategy, the full-time Staff Product Manager will work remotely to define API reliability, consumption economics, and event-driven architecture while championing customer needs and leading cross-functional collaboration.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and prioritize developer needs through customer engagement and market trends
• Define and drive GitHub's core productivity platform and scaling strategy
• Lead growth experiments and adoption campaigns to validate product direction and scale usage

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in product/service/project/program management, software development, product design, or related field - OR Bachelor's Degree in related field AND 6+ years of relevant experience
• 2+ years of expertise in developer tools and workflows, translating requirements into roadmap-ready features
• Experience building and shipping APIs or event-driven platforms at scale
• Experience delivering product roadmap/status updates to executive leadership
