Staff Product Manager, Cloud Networking

Job Summary

Owning the platform strategy for Confluent Cloud Networking, the full-time Staff Product Manager will define architectural direction, set a multi-year roadmap, and drive alignment across engineering and executive stakeholders while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Own the platform strategy for Confluent Cloud Networking across AWS, Azure, and GCP, balancing customer needs, cost efficiency, and security
• Define frameworks and standards for evaluating networking decisions and drive architectural decisions in partnership with engineering leadership
• Build senior stakeholder alignment and present the platform vision to executive leadership to secure investment and commitment for multi-year platform initiatives

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of product management experience, with at least 3 years in cloud infrastructure, platform, or networking products
• Demonstrated track record of setting product strategy and roadmap at a platform level
• Deep fluency in cloud networking concepts across AWS, Azure, and GCP
• Experience owning products that serve enterprise customers with complex compliance and security requirements
• Strong analytical foundation with the ability to model unit economics and measure platform health
