Staff Product Manager, Credit Underwriting

Job Summary

Owning the strategy and roadmap for credit underwriting, the full-time Staff Product Manager, Credit Underwriting will drive the development of scalable credit solutions and expand data advantages while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Drive an ambitious underwriting strategy and multi-quarter roadmap across Dave's credit product portfolio
• Partner with Data Science and Engineering to design and scale a new multi-product underwriting platform
• Lead experimentation on underwriting and model changes, managing KPIs such as take rate and retention

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of product or credit risk management experience, with 5+ years in credit, underwriting, or risk in consumer lending, fintech, or banking
• Deep experience with underwriting models and decisioning strategy, including cash-flow-based or alternative-data underwriting
• Proven ability to set and execute a multi-quarter underwriting strategy
• Strong quantitative and statistical fluency for partnering with Data Science on model design and validation
• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Economics, Finance, or Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience
