Staff Product Manager, IAM
Job Summary
Leading the development of security and identity capabilities, the full-time remote Staff Product Manager, IAM will manage the product roadmap, translate complex security challenges into user-friendly solutions, and collaborate with engineering teams to deliver innovative IAM products for developers and digital-native companies.
Key responsibilities
- Own the product roadmap for security and identity capabilities, translating customer needs into a multi-quarter strategy
- Translate complex identity and access problems into intuitive experiences in the DigitalOcean console and API
- Drive the full product lifecycle from discovery through launch, ensuring successful delivery and alignment across cross-functional teams
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Product Management or a related technical role
- Experience with cloud infrastructure, developer platforms, IAM, or security-related products
- Strong technical fluency with distributed systems, APIs, and modern cloud architectures
- Familiarity with identity and access concepts such as service accounts, API tokens, and RBAC
- Experience partnering closely with engineering teams to define technical capabilities and deliver complex platform products
