Staff Product Security Engineer

Job Summary

Focused on enhancing product security, the full-time remote Staff Product Security Engineer will partner with engineering teams to identify security risks, implement secure coding practices, and drive security initiatives throughout the software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with Engineering teams to identify and mitigate security risks and implement secure deployment practices
• Support threat modeling activities and help implement appropriate security controls
• Define and promote secure coding standards, security policies, and best practices

Required Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in product security, application security, or software engineering
• Experience with security testing tools such as SAST, DAST, and container security scanners
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, Go, Java, or JavaScript/TypeScript
• Demonstrated ability to use AI-powered tools to enhance security engineering productivity
• Deep expertise in threat modeling and vulnerability management
