Staff Product Security Engineer

Job Summary

To enhance PTC's security posture, the full-time Staff Product Security Engineer will provide cyber security expertise in the analysis, assessment, and development of security solutions for SaaS applications, operating systems, and networks, while working collaboratively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as a subject matter expert on Information Security and guide multi-disciplinary teams in implementing Cyber Security controls
• Identify and implement new security technologies and best practices, and review security test results to propose remediation measures
• Conduct security risk assessments and consult with internal teams on the secure design of cloud-based systems

Required qualifications

• US Citizen or Green Card holder based in the US to meet ITAR compliance
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Security, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
• 5+ years of experience in Application Security, Product Security, or Software Security Engineering
• Strong knowledge of Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDLC) practices and hands-on experience with threat modeling
• Proficiency in at least one programming language: Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Go
