Staff QA Automation Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff QA Automation Engineer to take ownership of test automation strategy and quality across its product suite.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable end-to-end test automation frameworks
• Own test coverage strategy for new features and regression suites across various layers
• Mentor junior and mid-level QA engineers and drive cross-functional QA initiatives

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of QA engineering experience with a strong automation focus
• Deep hands-on expertise with Cypress, Playwright, or a comparable test automation framework
• Proficiency in at least one programming language, preferably JavaScript/TypeScript
• Solid understanding of REST API testing using tools such as Postman
• Experience integrating automated test suites into CI/CD workflows
