Staff QA Automation Engineer

Job Summary

To drive the architecture and evolution of scalable automation capabilities, the full-time Staff QA Automation Engineer will own the long-term strategy for automation frameworks and quality engineering standards while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Own the technical architecture and multi-year roadmap for the enterprise automation ecosystem, ensuring scalable and maintainable capabilities across various testing types
• Define automation architecture and quality engineering strategies for new platforms and products, establishing reusable components and engineering standards
• Lead the investigation of complex automation failures and drive systemic engineering improvements to enhance software reliability and performance

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• At least 12 years of experience in software quality assurance, test automation, or quality engineering, with a focus on leading enterprise automation strategies
• Extensive hands-on experience with Playwright, TypeScript, JavaScript, and Node.js for designing enterprise automation frameworks
• Advanced expertise in performance engineering, API contract validation, and cloud-based development platforms
• Preferred experience in implementing AI-assisted testing technologies and familiarity with regulated industries such as healthcare
