Staff Quality Assurance Engineer
Job Summary
Driving quality engineering initiatives, the full-time Staff Quality Assurance Engineer will own automated testing strategies and frameworks, focusing on enhancing testing capabilities across product teams in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Own the automated-testing strategy and frameworks, ensuring critical user flows are covered in the delivery pipeline
- Build and maintain a risk-weighted registry of critical flows, reporting on testing coverage and effectiveness through live dashboards
- Lead an AI-first approach to testing, developing tools and skills to automate complex scenarios and enhance testing efficiency
Required qualifications
- Deep experience in designing, coding, and owning test automation and frameworks across various layers (unit, integration, contract, and e2e)
- Proven passion for quality engineering with a track record of building high-quality automated testing
- Strong familiarity with AWS and Node/TypeScript, and experience with distributed, service-oriented systems
- Exceptional communication skills to effectively align and coach cross-functional teams
- Ability to work an 8-to-5 EST schedule
