Staff Quality Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Quality Engineer to enhance product reliability and performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, prioritized test suites, and automated tests for new and existing features
• Conduct manual exploratory and regression testing of web, mobile, and desktop applications, documenting defects
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and designers to ensure features meet quality acceptance criteria

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience as a Quality Engineer in fast-paced product environments
• Proven experience in manual testing and automating tests in TypeScript with various test frameworks
• Strong understanding of modern test pyramid principles and balancing automated vs. manual testing
• Demonstrated interest or experience in AI-assisted test case creation and maintenance
• Experience with analytical tools and methodologies for tracking quality metrics
