Staff Quality Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Quality Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead QA strategy and initiatives for complex product areas, setting quality objectives and best practices
• Architect and evolve testing processes that balance automated and manual testing, including CI/CD integration
• Build automated tests and improve testing infrastructure and tooling

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in software quality assurance or test engineering
• Proven experience leading QA initiatives and mentoring teammates
• Strong proficiency with Playwright or equivalent modern automation frameworks
• Experience performing manual API testing using tools like Postman or Swagger
• Comfortable writing scalable, maintainable code for automated tests in languages such as JavaScript/TypeScript or Ruby
