Job Summary

To support a growing business development team, the full-time Staff Sales Engineer will provide technical expertise throughout the sales lifecycle, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful solution design and execution in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities
  • Serve as the technical counterpart to the Partnerships team, leading technical discovery sessions and validating solution designs
  • Act as a trusted technical advisor in meetings with utilities and strategic stakeholders, communicating Renew Home's capabilities and operational expectations
  • Collaborate across departments to ensure technical alignment and translate market feedback into actionable insights for product strategy
Required qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in Sales Engineering, Solutions Engineering, or a related technical customer-facing role
  • Experience partnering cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Customer Success teams
  • Strong understanding of demand response, load flexibility, and distributed energy resource management concepts
  • Experience leading technical customer engagements and translating complex concepts for diverse audiences
  • Preferred: Experience with DERMS platforms and utility program delivery partners
