Staff Scheduling Associate
Job Summary
Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Staff Scheduling Associate will manage staffing and scheduling adjustments for nursing units, ensuring appropriate nurse-to-patient ratios and supporting patient care operations during evening shifts from 3:30pm to 12:00am.
Key responsibilities:
- Review and communicate staffing levels with management to meet patient care needs
- Generate and assess 24-hour staffing projections while seeking coverage for shifts
- Utilize various computer systems to coordinate with nursing leadership and document caregiver schedule changes
Required qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED with 2 years of customer service experience, or an Associate's Degree (substituting for 1 year of experience), or a Bachelor's Degree (substituting for 2 years of experience)
- Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, and database software
- Ability to work evenings and every other weekend and holiday
- Experience with staffing and scheduling processes is preferred
