Staff Search Engineer

Job Summary

Leading the design and evolution of a real-time search platform, the full-time Staff Search Engineer will architect and maintain Elasticsearch clusters, develop high-performance APIs in Go, and ensure the platform's scalability and reliability while working remotely.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engage in back-end development to create robust, scalable, and high-performance solutions
• Contribute to all stages of the product lifecycle, from conception to deployment and scaling
• Design, implement, and maintain ElasticSearch environments to meet performance and scalability requirements

Required Qualifications:

• 7-10+ years of software development experience with a strong background in computer science
• 3+ years of recent ElasticSearch experience or similar
• Proven experience in Golang development or a strong willingness to learn and adapt
• In-depth knowledge of ElasticSearch and familiarity with AWS infrastructure
• Solid foundation in computing theory, including OOP principles and database theory
