Staff Security Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Security Engineer to lead security initiatives and ensure the protection of user data.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and drive the strategic roadmap for security vulnerability analysis in web and mobile applications
• Establish a technical vision for integrating security controls throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Lead the development and implementation of security policies, standards, and metrics for the Product and Application Security Program

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in product/application security or related security-focused engineering field
• Expertise in secure software development practices and security-focused architecture
• Hands-on experience with vulnerability management, secure code review, and threat modeling
• Proficient in at least one scripting language (Python and/or Bash preferred)
• Experience guiding teams and integrating security into agile product delivery
