Staff Security Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Security Engineer to join their Security team.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify security issues and implement security controls, tools, and services to enhance security systems and processes
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to conduct product security assessments and threat modeling
• Lead incident response simulations and provide guidance to other security engineers

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in cybersecurity, including security engineering
• Strong expertise in information security incidents and threat assessments
• Experience with application security vulnerability triage and mitigation controls
• High proficiency in a modern programming language (e.g., Python, Go)
• Strong understanding of public cloud environments, such as GCP and AWS
