Staff Security Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Security Engineer responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining security services.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and maintenance of comprehensive security strategies and solutions
• Design and deploy advanced security controls to safeguard networks, systems, and applications
• Mentor new engineers and uphold security process standards to support high-quality engineering

Required Qualifications

• BS/BTech (or higher) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity or a related field, or 10 years of security domain experience without a degree
• 8+ years of experience in software or security engineering within Cloud Native environments
• Experience architecting, developing, and deploying large-scale distributed systems
• Experience with cloud technologies, such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• 4+ years of experience acting as a trusted technical decision-maker in a team setting
