Staff Security Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Security Engineer to enhance autonomous security operations within their Open XDR platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Observe SOC practices to extract patterns for automation and tooling
• Build and maintain AI agents, tools, and workflows for alert investigation and response automation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure tools meet user needs and architectural standards

Required Qualifications

• Experience in cybersecurity or SOC operations with familiarity in security workflows
• Solid software engineering skills and experience with coding for security workflows
• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Python, TypeScript)
• Experience with diverse security tools and integrating them into automated pipelines
• Ability to document and abstract complex operational behaviors into software constructs
