Staff Security Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Security Engineer who will provide high-level technical leadership and design security solutions across diverse client environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design scalable security baselines and select appropriate security tools for diverse client environments
• Act as the final escalation point for complex security incidents and automate threat hunting processes
• Mentor junior engineers and lead clients through regulatory audits to ensure compliance

Required Qualifications

• 8-12+ years of experience in IT and Security
• Mastery of EDR/XDR, SIEM, firewalls, and identity management systems
• Deep knowledge of cloud-native security tools and Zero Trust architecture
• Proficiency in Python or PowerShell for automation and API integrations
• CISSP certification is highly preferred, along with other relevant certifications
