Staff Security Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Security Engineer, Proactive Security.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead threat modeling, hardening, and operation of security services within Product and Cloud Security domains
• Define, document, and implement security standards and automated security controls
• Manage the lifecycle of product and cloud security vulnerabilities and mentor earlier career engineers

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in product or infrastructure security
• Proven track record of improving infrastructure security posture
• Deep understanding of OWASP top 10 vulnerabilities and distributed systems security
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java)
• Expertise in cloud infrastructure management, particularly in GCP and AWS
