Staff Security Engineer

Job Summary

Acting as the primary cybersecurity partner for the Customer Support and Integrity teams, the full-time Staff Security Engineer will establish and lead the security function, focusing on reducing security risks and implementing effective security strategies in a remote capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Establish the vision, strategy, and success metrics for the Customer Support and Integrity Security function
• Lead the technical direction and roadmap execution to mitigate security risks associated with support agents and tooling
• Design and operationalize security controls to promote secure solutions and best practices across internal and third-party support populations

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of experience as a security engineer in enterprise, corporate, or infrastructure security
• Proven track record designing and implementing security solutions for support and sales populations
• Experience with IAM platforms such as Okta and Google Workspace
• Proficient in scripting languages (e.g., Python) and programming languages (e.g., Java); Golang experience is a plus
• Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure and management in GCP and AWS
