Staff Security Engineer

Job Summary

Designing and implementing security technologies, the full-time Staff Security Engineer will protect intellectual property and customer data across cloud ecosystems and corporate infrastructure while collaborating with technology and business teams to deliver secure solutions remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, deploy, and operate security controls across AWS, Azure, corporate networks, and endpoints
• Engineer and maintain SIEM content, develop automation and orchestration playbooks to enhance response times
• Administer and optimize endpoint detection and response (EDR) platforms, including sensor deployment and policy tuning

Required qualifications

• Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in hands-on security engineering and/or security operations
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience engineering and operating security controls within Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience (preferred)
• CISSP, CCSP, GIAC, or other relevant security-related designations (preferred)
• Experience with scripting and automation using Python, PowerShell, or infrastructure-as-code tooling such as Terraform (preferred)
