Staff Security Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Staff Security Engineer for a full-time remote position, this role focuses on enhancing security capabilities through threat intelligence, detection and response, and AI-driven solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams to address emerging threats and vulnerabilities.

Key responsibilities:

• Identify security issues and implement controls, tools, and services to enhance security systems
• Conduct product security assessments and threat modeling during the design phase to proactively manage security risks
• Develop and lead incident response simulations and contribute to the evolution of the security team's expertise

Required qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience in cybersecurity, including security engineering
• Strong expertise in information security incidents and threat assessments
• Proficiency in a modern programming language (e.g., Python, Go)
• Understanding of public cloud environments such as GCP and AWS
• Demonstrated success in building or scaling a threat intelligence program
