Staff Security Researcher

Job Summary

Hands-on and detail-driven, the full-time Staff Security Researcher will create detection rules, research novel vulnerabilities, and collaborate across teams to enhance application security, all while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Create new detection rules to improve malware and vulnerability detection accuracy
• Research and develop proof-of-concept attacks for modern web applications and APIs
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to ensure operational effectiveness of research outputs

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in offensive security or application security research
• Broad knowledge of programming languages, especially JavaScript, with Python as a plus
• Deep understanding of vulnerability classifications and exploitation methodologies
• Experience designing testing frameworks and evaluation harnesses for security tooling
• Fluency with offensive tooling and familiarity with cloud platforms and CI/CD security
