Staff Security Software Engineer

Job Summary

Recognized as a technical authority, the full-time remote Staff Security Software Engineer will set the direction for AI security engineering by defining architecture, standards, and methodologies for security tooling that protects AI systems and ensures high-confidence operational security.

Key responsibilities

• Define the architecture and technical strategy for AI security tooling, including adversarial testing and threat detection
• Lead the design and development of scalable AI platform capabilities for behavioral analysis and anomaly detection
• Mentor engineers and establish engineering standards for AI security tooling across teams

Required qualifications

• 7-10 years of experience in security software engineering or a closely related discipline with demonstrated technical leadership
• Expertise in Python engineering and production systems at scale, including observability and reliability engineering
• Deep knowledge of AI/ML security, including adversarial ML and prompt injection
• Experience designing security tooling architectures that span multiple teams and systems
• Strong technical communication skills to align engineering and security leadership on architectural direction
