Staff Security Software Engineer

Job Summary

Setting the technical direction for AI security engineering, the full-time remote Staff Security Software Engineer will define architecture and standards for security tooling, lead AI threat detection initiatives, and provide cross-organizational technical leadership while mentoring team members.

Key responsibilities

• Define architecture and technical strategy for AI security tooling, including adversarial testing and threat detection
• Lead the design and development of capabilities for production-scale behavioral analysis and anomaly detection
• Serve as the technical authority on AI security engineering, ensuring integration with product security and cross-team workflows

Required qualifications

• 7-10 years of experience in security software engineering or a closely related discipline with demonstrated technical leadership
• Expertise in Python engineering, including the design and delivery of production systems at scale
• Deep knowledge of AI/ML security, including adversarial ML and model security
• Experience designing security tooling architectures that span multiple teams and systems
• Strong technical communicator with a track record of aligning engineering and security leadership on architectural direction
