Staff Site Reliability Engineer

Job Summary

As a full-time Staff Site Reliability Engineer working remotely, the candidate will manage and evolve AWS infrastructure using Terraform, ensure CI/CD reliability for the engineering organization, and provide developer support across various environments for a platform that serves over 9 million users.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and evolve AWS environment, ensuring performance and currency of EKS clusters and databases
• Own the speed and reliability of CI systems, facilitating smooth deployments across the engineering organization
• Establish monitoring and alerting standards, leading incident response and post-incident reviews to enhance reliability

Required qualifications

• Deep hands-on expertise with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Proven experience with AWS at scale, including EKS, RDS, and cloud networking
• Experience operating Kubernetes in production environments
• Comfortable designing and improving CI/CD systems such as CircleCI or GitHub Actions
• Strong observability instincts with tools like Datadog and Sentry
