Staff Site Reliability Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a high-ownership Staff Site Reliability Engineer focused on security, this full-time remote position will manage cloud security posture, vulnerability and dependency management, and security solutions engineering within a fast-paced SRE team.

Key responsibilities

• Assess and enhance Stord's GCP security posture, implementing continuous monitoring and remediation strategies
• Establish and automate workflows for vulnerability and dependency management across engineering teams
• Develop security capabilities and documentation that enable the broader SRE team to operate effectively

Required qualifications

• Deep experience with GCP and GKE security, including workload identity and RBAC
• Hands-on experience with Dependabot configuration and secret scanning at scale
• Proven ability in CI/CD supply chain hardening and cloud security posture management
• Fluency in infrastructure-as-code, particularly with Terraform, and coding for automation
• Strong track record of designing operable tools and workflows that are widely adopted by engineering teams
