Staff Site Reliability Engineer

Job Summary

Owning the infrastructure and reliability practices for a platform supporting over 9 million users, the full-time Staff Site Reliability Engineer will manage AWS environments, enhance CI/CD systems, and provide developer support in a remote-first setting.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and evolve AWS infrastructure using Terraform, ensuring performance and currency of EKS clusters and databases
• Own the speed and reliability of CI systems across the Engineering organization, facilitating efficient deployments
• Lead incident response efforts, conducting post-incident reviews to prevent recurrence of issues

Required qualifications

• Deep hands-on expertise with Terraform for infrastructure as code (IaC)
• Proven experience with AWS services at scale, including EKS, RDS, and cloud networking
• Experience operating Kubernetes in production environments with a focus on debugging
• Familiarity with CI/CD systems such as CircleCI or GitHub Actions, prioritizing developer velocity
• Strong background in observability tools like Datadog and Sentry, with a focus on actionable alerting
