Staff Site Reliability Engineer

Job Summary

As a full-time Staff Site Reliability Engineer working remotely, the successful candidate will embed with product and platform teams to shape designs for reliability, define production-readiness standards, and drive initiatives that enhance operational excellence across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Embed with development teams early in the project lifecycle to ensure reliability is designed in from the start
• Define and evolve production-readiness standards, including design reviews and operational acceptance criteria
• Lead initiatives to create frameworks and tooling across cloud platforms, enhancing reliability practices organization-wide

Required qualifications

• General fluency across AWS, GCP, and Azure, with experience using Terraform as an infrastructure-as-code tool
• Significant experience as an SRE, production/platform engineer, or software engineer with a focus on reliability
• Strong software engineering fundamentals, with the ability to write production-quality code in TypeScript and Ruby on Rails
• A track record of influencing team practices and driving strategic execution across organizational boundaries
• Experience in building measurement frameworks and translating operational data into organizational improvements
