Staff Software Developer

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time Staff Software Developer to work remotely, who will lead frontend architecture evolution and enhance user experiences within a Ruby on Rails monolith using Hotwire, Turbo, Stimulus, and Tailwind.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the Director of Engineering to shape technical direction and lead frontend architecture evolution
• Translate product and design intent into elegant, maintainable user interfaces while simplifying complex workflows
• Mentor engineers and elevate frontend and UX craftsmanship across the team

Required qualifications

• Deep experience in building high-quality user interfaces with recent hands-on coding
• Strong fundamentals in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and browser behavior
• Experience working directly in Rails views, helpers, and partials
• Strong product and interaction design instincts with the ability to work effectively with ambiguity
• Experience shaping engineering patterns and conventions, with strong communication skills
