Job Summary

Focused on optimizing supply chains, the full-time remote Staff Software Developer will investigate novel techniques, translate real-world supply chain management use cases into mathematical models, and lead the design and implementation of these models.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate and combine leading heuristics with optimization techniques
• Translate supply chain management scenarios into mathematical models and implement them
• Define test strategies and develop comprehensive testing plans, including automated test scripts

Required qualifications

• MSc or PhD in Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
• 7+ years of software development experience with a track record of delivering commercial software
• Proficiency in C++ and knowledge of object-oriented design and design patterns
• Experience in creating mathematical models for optimization problems and familiarity with commercial solvers
• Ability to design and maintain automated testing scripts using various testing frameworks and tools
