Staff Software Developer

Job Summary

Leading the design and delivery of new platform capabilities, the full-time remote Staff Software Developer will build and maintain key services for the Federated GraphQL API and drive integrations with internal services while mentoring engineers across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design, architecture, and delivery of new platform capabilities in a collaborative agile environment
• Build, support, and maintain key services that drive the Federated GraphQL API and regulatory compliance tooling
• Proactively identify bottlenecks and areas of systemic risk, leading efforts to address them before they impact reliability or scale

Required qualifications

• 7+ years in a software engineering role with experience in complex systems
• Strong foundation in computer science with competencies in data structures, distributed systems, algorithms, and software design
• Experience with relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL, and familiarity with caching strategies
• Proficient in multiple programming languages, including Elixir, Java, Rust, and TypeScript
• Experience with Kubernetes and high-throughput or real-time domains such as sports betting or gaming
