Staff Software Developer

Job Summary

Driving the design and delivery of scalable backend systems, the full-time Staff Software Developer will lead critical product components, collaborate with technical leads, and ensure high engineering standards in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own delivery for significant features or systems, from requirement clarification to execution and iteration
• Design and build scalable backend services, APIs, and data pipelines that support core product functionality
• Mentor engineers through design reviews, code reviews, and provide hands-on technical guidance

Required qualifications

• 6+ years of overall experience in software engineering, with 3+ years in building and shipping production systems
• Strong software engineering fundamentals and advanced system design experience
• Hands-on coding experience in Python and/or TypeScript, building APIs, services, and data pipelines
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and CI/CD practices
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
