Staff Software Developer

Job Summary

Driving high-impact Clinical Intelligence projects, the full-time remote Staff Software Developer will design, develop, and implement core application features while mentoring junior developers and resolving complex system challenges.

Key responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement core application features while leading tasking sessions for new features
• Act as a key technical leader for complex project challenges and provide guidance to team members
• Analyze and evaluate requirements to propose high-level design and technical solutions throughout the development process

Required qualifications:

• 10+ years in the software development lifecycle, with 4+ years in senior or staff-level development roles, preferably in healthcare technology
• Post-secondary degree or equivalent professional experience in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields
• Expertise in backend development using Java and Spring Boot, with hands-on experience in microservices and distributed systems architecture
• Proven experience in designing and developing APIs, preferably RESTful and FHIR-based
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), CI/CD pipelines, and building complex healthcare systems
