Staff Software Developer

Job Summary

To drive customer impact, the full-time Staff Software Developer will build innovative backend features, identify game-changing opportunities, and own projects end-to-end while collaborating with a small, agile team in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Design, code, and launch new backend features to enhance restaurant operations and customer experiences
• Identify and implement innovative technical solutions that deliver significant value to partners
• Take ownership of projects from concept through production, collaborating closely with product and design teams

Required qualifications

• Solid experience in crafting scalable backend systems using Python (Flask) and familiarity with databases and cloud services
• Ability to quickly learn new programming languages or frameworks as needed for problem-solving
• Experience working effectively in a distributed team and communicating asynchronously across time zones
• Strong product and customer focus, with a deep understanding of the end-user experience
• Creative problem-solving skills, with a passion for finding innovative solutions to complex challenges
