Staff Software Development Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET).

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks and libraries
• Partner with engineers and product teams to define test strategies for hybrid cloud-based and on-prem connected systems
• Mentor and coach SDETs and developers on automation design patterns and effective test strategies

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience as a Senior SDET or Senior QA Automation Engineer
• Strong programming skills in one or more languages (Python, TypeScript, Java)
• Deep experience with test automation frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium, or similar
• Proven expertise in testing REST APIs, microservices, and web-based applications
• Solid understanding of CI/CD systems and DevOps workflows
