Job Summary
As a full-time Staff Software Development Engineer specializing in Windows Endpoint, the successful candidate will design and implement kernel-mode enforcement drivers, manage the kernel/user-mode enforcement boundary, and enhance enforcement capabilities across Windows environments while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Design, build, and own kernel-mode enforcement drivers for various operations, blocking actions inline in the kernel
- Drive down enforce-mode latency and extend enforcement into containers and isolation, focusing on greenfield projects
- Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams on policy semantics and architecture reviews
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in systems-level software engineering with a focus on Windows kernel development
- Proven experience in kernel-mode driver development using C, C++, or Rust, including shipping a file-system minifilter or similar driver
- Deep understanding of Windows kernel internals and the Windows security model, including driver signing and deployment
- Experience with kernel debugging and performance tools such as WinDbg, Driver Verifier, and ETW
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex initiatives and utilize AI tools in development processes
