Staff Software Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a highly skilled Staff Software Engineer in a full-time remote position, the candidate will own the integration architecture and knowledge surface for Gladly's AI, focusing on enhancing customer-configurable actions and building tooling for new integrations.

Key responsibilities

• Own the integration architecture and set the technical direction for external systems connecting to Gladly's AI
• Build the connective tissue for AI, expanding its capabilities across the customer's tech stack
• Collaborate with product and design teams to solve product-level problems and ensure a seamless customer experience

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of full-stack engineering experience with a proven track record of shipping large-scale products
• Experience in owning domains end to end and making independent architectural decisions
• Hands-on experience with AI coding tools and familiarity with TypeScript, React, Go, and PostgreSQL
• Strong ability to turn ambiguous ideas into shipped products, especially in 0-to-1 settings
• Customer-centric mindset with strong communication skills for both high-level and detailed technical discussions
