Staff Software Engineer

Job Summary

Designing and building core identity and authorization components for an AI security platform, the full-time Staff Software Engineer will focus on developing the identity model for AI agents, constructing the authorization engine, and leading technical direction across teams in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design the identity model for AI agents, including delegated actions and audit attribution
• Build the real-time authorization engine and select underlying policy technologies
• Establish trust in identities issued by external platforms and emerging standards

Required qualifications

• Typically 10 or more years of software engineering experience with expertise in identity and authorization systems
• Hands-on experience with authorization or policy systems like Cedar or OPA
• Working knowledge of identity and token standards such as OAuth and OpenID Connect
• Proven track record of designing scalable systems and interfaces
• Ability to lead technical decisions and communicate effectively across teams
