Staff Software Engineer

Job Summary

Owning the architectural direction of the Integrations Platform, the full-time remote Staff Software Engineer will manage non-API integration patterns, the ingestion pipeline architecture, and the authoring framework while coaching team members through design reviews and collaborative decision-making.

Key responsibilities

• Drive long-term architectural decisions and manage abstraction trade-offs
• Design secure authoring frameworks for FDEs, Customer Engineering, contractors, and AI agents
• Coach the team through collaborative design reviews and pairing

Required qualifications

• 8+ years building scalable, observable SaaS systems
• Experience designing SDKs or systems for safe product extension by engineers or partners
• Deep fluency in TypeScript, Node.js, and AWS primitives
• Track record of leading multi-quarter platform or integrations work
• Hands-on experience with non-API integration patterns and event-driven data pipelines on AWS
