Staff Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Software Engineer - Backend.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and lead the development of a cloud-native fleet management system for real-time control of autonomous vehicles
• Design and implement scalable, distributed systems for high-volume data processing and decision-making
• Develop robust APIs and microservices for integration with various vehicle platforms and customer systems

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of software development experience, focusing on backend systems and distributed architectures
• Extensive experience in building and scaling cloud-native SaaS platforms, preferably in IoT or robotics
• Expert-level proficiency in at least one of Python, Go, Java, or C++
• Deep understanding of cloud technologies and services (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Proven experience with event-driven architectures and message queuing systems
