Staff Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Software Engineer - AI Workflow Development to lead the technical vision and implementation of intelligent agents across their operational platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy scalable LLM-powered agents to automate and optimize operational workflows
• Serve as the technical lead for LLM architecture decisions and collaborate with stakeholders to translate business problems into AI-powered solutions
• Develop and maintain internal tooling to evaluate model performance and champion responsible AI practices

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• 6+ years of progressive experience in software engineering or applied AI, including 2+ years with LLMs or NLP technologies
• Proven experience building and deploying LLM-powered tools or agents in production environments
• Expertise with Python and frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, or RAG architectures
• Strong understanding of prompt engineering, model fine-tuning, and summarization techniques
