Staff Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Software Engineer, Workflows Platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and enhancement of event-driven notifications and workflow orchestration systems
• Own and evolve the core architecture for multi-channel messaging, including delivery routing and message templating
• Partner with product and engineering teams to design developer-friendly APIs and manage user-facing messages and workflow states

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a backend or platform engineer with a focus on event-driven systems or workflow orchestration
• Deep knowledge of asynchronous architectures, including message queues and state machines
• Strong backend development skills in Python, Go, or TypeScript
• Hands-on experience building multi-channel messaging systems, including support for templating and delivery retries
• Familiarity with compliance and governance use cases related to workflows
