Staff Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Software Engineer, Performance Engineering.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and evolution of performance testing frameworks
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and scale realistic workloads that capture customer usage patterns
• Profile and analyze performance across the full stack and identify, reproduce, and resolve performance bottlenecks

Required Qualifications

• 9+ years' experience in software engineering or related technical discipline with proven experience in production software coding
• 4+ years of hands-on experience in performance engineering or systems performance analysis
• Experience with programming languages including Go, Ruby, Rust, Python, JavaScript, C, C++, C#, and Java
• Experience in profiling, benchmarking, and tuning distributed systems
• Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of formal education
